Breathomics Research
Breathomics offers a promising approach for distinguishing airway diseases with overlapping symptoms, such as asthma, bronchiectasis, and COPD. Because these conditions can share clinical features including cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, and airway inflammation, conventional symptom-based evaluation may not fully capture their underlying biological differences. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) detected in exhaled breath can provide a noninvasive chemical snapshot of metabolic activity, oxidative stress, inflammation, and environmental exposure.

women. We evaluated the serum proteomic profile of AA women with breast

This research develops soft sensor models to predict ethanol and other key product concentrations using easy-to-measure process variables such as temperature, pH, oxidation-reduction potential, and capacitance.
